Founded in 1888, Kaneju Farm is a Japanese green tea farm located on the plateaus of Makinohara City in Shizuoka. Between the soil that allows for water to easily flow through the fields, the climate of the region, and the amount of sunlight our tea fields get, our fields that stretch out like a limitless green tea sea on the Makinohara Plateau have the perfect conditions to grow in. And with our original, in-house method for tea production, we guarantee that every tea leaf that we produce will be loaded to the brim with a flavor that can only be produced by Kaneju Farm.
As fifth generation tea farmers, we are constantly looking for new ways to push the boundaries for what a tea leaf can do. We utilize only the highest quality tea leaves harvested from the first flush, full of nutrients built up over the winter and spring, with our original Kaneju Farm production method which combines techniques from all across Japan and the world with a uniquely Makinohara twist, to to fully unlock the potential of the tea leaves.
